Scott Cheo

Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 2006. He uses his background in psychology and almost two decades of corporate experience to refine systems and processes and influence company culture. His goal is to help build a healthy, thriving team that effectively serves OFI’s clients and author a world class online marketing story that will draw more wonderful people and families to OFI’s shores. 

His Story

Scott began his financial services career with Wells Fargo Bank in 2005. Starting in 2009, Scott served as a relationship manager for high-net-worth families in Private Banking with Wells Fargo, Bank of the West, and City National Bank. Scott loves his current role building out systems and procedures to help keep the company healthy and the clients happy. He  believes his background in private banking has made him an exceptional, caring and competent listener as well as a resourceful problem solver. He also loves heading marketing and developing a path to reaching more people and families with the framework and good news that OFI brings.

 

Scott was raised in Mission Viejo, CA, as the 2nd oldest brother of six boys. He was recruited to play NCAA Division I baseball at the University of California, Berkeley before he transferred to UC Irvine to complete his degree. His experience playing at the Division I level built resolve and self-discipline in him that has allowed him to be successful in his career. Before his career in financial services, Scott was a passionate private baseball hitting coach for young players. 

 

Scott is married to his college sweetheart, Katelyn North-Cheo. They have 6 daughters (Brinkley, Haven, Luna, Storie, Aspen, and Golden) and 1 son (Sawyer). Scott loves date nights with his wife, watching Marvel movies with his son, choreographing dances with his daughters, and spending time with his church community.
